Tai Pan

Tai-Pan is a management and action video game, officially licensed from the 1966 novel Tai-Pan, published in 1987 for the Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, Commodore 64, MSX and ZX Spectrum computers from Ocean Software. Some advertisements also listed a compatible IBM PC version, but lack evidence of its actual publication. The game is set in the mid-19th century in the seas of China, at the time teeming with Western merchant ships, also dedicated to smuggling and piracy.
